CLARK COUNTY -- The clerk and treasurer for the Village of Enon was arrested Thursday.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office arrested Debra Maurer, who is charged with stealing nearly $40,000 from the village.
The Sheriff's Office says Maurer from 2008 to 2012 deposited village funds into her personal bank account and then fixed the books.
She remains in the Clark County Jail.
