TROTWOOD -- A woman trapped in a burning car Monday evening was saved by a quick-thinking good samaritan.
The car in which the woman and three other occupants was traveling struck a utility pole before flipping on its side on Miller Avenue around 9 p.m. The vehicle caught fire with the woman trapped underneath. Thankfully, a neighbor reacted quickly.
"One of the passengers was out there hollering 'help me.'" "I asked her if there was anyone in the car. She said 'yes' and I said I'm on my way to get a fire extinguisher."
All four occupants were transported to area hospitals and power was out in parts of the neighborhood until this morning.
