PREBLE COUNTY -- A wanted man out of Preble County is wanted no more.
Deputies were looking for Willie Asher, 39, because he had two outstanding warrants for rape and menacing by stalking. They spotted his pick up yesterday afternoon and tried pulling him over. But Asher did not stop, and instead, led them on a chase.
The chase ended only when Asher managed to get his truck stuck in a field on Reeves Road at Camden College Road. He immediately hopped out of the vehicle and attempted to flee, but was quickly apprehended by police.
Asher's antics have landed him additional charges including fleeing, possession of drugs and driving under and OVI suspension.
