DAYTON -- A Dayton mother is in jail after police say they found her kids living in filth. Savannah Fugate Ledbetter, 29, called police herself to report her husband had accidentally overdosed inside their White Oak Avenue apartment.
When officers arrived to the scene, they found the apartment in terrible condition, and when they tried to talk to Fugate Ledbetter about it, she became irate. Officers were forced to put her in handcuffs and arrested her for child endangering.
Children Services is also investigating the case.
