Bengals Fans React To Loss

MIAMISBURG -- It was a rough night Saturday in the "Who Dey Nation" after the Bengals lose in the playoffs to the Houston Texans.

Football fans crowded into the Roosters on 741 in Miami Township to watch the game.

A few 'cheese-heads' were there, but most people proudly sported the orange and black, and were hopeful this playoff season would be different.

"They did pretty well up until the last past of the game, they should have won it, but they let us down" said Linda Harding, Bengals Fan.

The Bengals hadn't won a playoff game since 1990, and with their loss to the Texans... 13 to 19, it looks like the play-off drought continues.

"We need to see something on offense, defense don't win football games" said Patrick Diaz, Bengals Fan.

Some hardcore fans feel it's time for a change...

"We need some kind of personnel change, we need a coaching change, we need an ownership change, we need some kind of change" said Marty Thomas, Bengals Fan.

"Obviously we need to get a new coach, I think some of the play calls were horrible, but overall I feel we played pretty well, I wish A.J. Green would have got the ball more" said Jacque Tracy, Bengals Fan.

...And speaking of AJ Green, even some of the team's youngest fans were upset.

"AJ Green only caught one pass in the third quarter" said, Michael Bailey, Bengals Fan.

While there will always be that fan unwilling to take a loss...

"I think they cheated, the other team, not the Bengals, yeah" said Lori Whipkey, Bengals Fan.

Like in any sport, there’s always next year.
