NEW JASPER TWP. -- A fire at a home in New Jasper Township sends a family running for safety.
The fire broke out around 6:30pm Friday in the attic of the home on Hoop Road, that's where firefighters found some burning wires. The fire damaged two bedrooms of the home and the family renting the house cannot stay there. The Red Cross was called in to help the family with a place to stay.
