UPDATE: A Dayton mother is being investigated after her four year daughter stopped breathing late Wednesday night.
Police say Takara Scott had been ill for a while, but was never taken to the doctor or to a hospital. Wednesday night, she was being watched by her 16 year old brother who called 911 when he found her unresponsive.
The dispatcher helped the teen perform CPR on his sister.
DISPATCH: Ok, now did her chest go up each time you blew in?
CALLER: Yea.
DISPATCH: And you felt the air go in and out?
CALLER: Yea, but she's not breathing.
Scott's mother, who was not home last night is being investigated for child neglect, though right now no charges have been filed.

DAYTON -- Homicide detectives are called out to a Dayton home for a 4 year old who stopped breathing.
Police say the child was being watched a 16-year-old sibling. We're told the mother was not home.
The child was taken to Children's Medical Center and is being treated. Right now, detectives are trying to figure out where the mother was.
