DAYTON -- An SUV hit a patch of ice on westbound State Route 35 over Gettysburg Avenue, lost control, hit a light pole and overturned.
According to Dayton Police, the overpass was extremely slick and there have been three accidents there so far Tuesday morning.
The SUV had two adults and three children in it. There were only minor injuries but two of the children were not buckled and police say the driver will faces numerous citations.
Police said it was fortunate the SUV hit the light pole, which might have saved it from falling off the overpass.
