DAYTON -- A Dayton woman is spending the New Year's holiday in the hospital after falling down a flight of stairs.
Police are investigating whether the fall was accidental, or if she was pushed down the stairs.
Police said 38-year-old Francis Harvey took a nasty spill inside a home on Pleasant Avenue.
According to the 911 call, her daughter found her at the bottom of the stairs and tried to revive her. Medics came and took Harvey to the hospital.
Detectives said Harvey had been drinking and was arguing with her 17- year-old son.
The teenage son was taken into custody for questioning.
Harvey was upgraded from critical condition to stable, Monday afternoon.
