DAYTON -- A woman arrested on a prostitution charge told police she was trying to get money for her kids' Christmas.
Police said they saw Melisa Ramsey, 30, and John Franklin, 43, performing a sex act at 126 Fernwood Avenue. Police reported seeing people walking nearby to the car and "windows in view of Franklin and Ramsey where people were at home," a police report reads.
Ramsey told police she was paid $20 for the act, while Franklin denied paying her anything.
Ramsey and Franklin face public indecency, loitering and prostitution charges.
