DAYTON -- A woman is fighting for her life after she's thrown from her vehicle. The crash happened late Tuesday night, near the intersection of Otterbein and Tennyson Avenues in Dayton.
Police say a van ran a stop sign and slammed into the woman's Suburban. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say there were at least three people in the van at the time. They say the driver took off. Police don't believe the woman was wearing her seat belt.
The crash is under investigation.
