RIVERSIDE -- A Riverside salon was broken into overnight along Harshman Road.
Intrinsic Dezign Barber& Beauty Salon walked into a shop destroyed with racial slurs painted on the walls.
It was hard for Candis Hamilton to fight back tears when she stared at the swastika and racial slurs on the wall at the place she works.
"People shouldn't treat people like this. No matter your color," said an Hamilton.
The slurs spray painted said things like "die" with the n word.
Besides the hurtful words the vandals destroyed everything in the salon. Televisions, furniture, mirrors, sinks completely shattered.
The floors were also destroyed. Whoever broke in hit a water pipe soaking place.
Candice and the other stylists will be left without work.
She says a nearby bar or an upset customer a few weeks ago could be to blame.
Riverside police are investigating the vandalism.
