DAYTON -- Employment opportunities are now available for the new racino planned for Dayton.
Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway is offering online registration where job seekers can submit a resume for one of the estimated 1,000 jobs that will be created when the racino opens.
Registration information is at www.hollywooddaytonraceway.com/Careers. Potential employees will be given the option of uploading a resume, and can choose to sign in by registering on the website or by using their Facebook, Google or LinkedIn account.
Penn National Games, which will own Hollywood, will be filling a variety of jobs, including VLT (video lottery terminal) operations, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance and facilities, parking, wardrobe, security and surveillance, and racing operations, as well as in administrative positions.
The facility is expected to open in the summer of 2014.
