Huber Heights Police say they don't have any witnesses at this point but there were plenty of people inside the theater when the shooting happened. We talked to one moviegoer who says he saw officers in the theater. At first he thought they were checking IDs then he realized it was much more serious.
Police collected information from all the people in the theater to conduct more interviews later if needed.
A K-9 unit was also brought in to track where the shooter went. They lost the scent near Rural King, an area behind the theater.
That shooter did not get his hands on any of that money.
Officers do not have a good description of the suspect. They tell us the next step is to check surveillance video at the movie theater. They will also check with nearby businesses to see if they have any video surveillance.
