MIAMI COUNTY -- Deputies in Champaign County responded early Wednesday morning to a call from a child who said his mother had been beaten up.
The call came in from a residence on Cedar Creek Road but deputies say the suspect took off in his pickup truck and a high-speed chase ensued through several counties. The pursuit ended about 5 a.m. on I-75 North in Miami County after deputies deployed stop sticks.
Deputies say his truck reached speeds of 90 mph during the pursuit.
Zachary Titus, 25, was arrested and being held in Champaign County. He faces several charges.
Deputies also say he had a small dog with him in the truck during the chase.
