PREBLE COUNTY -- A Preble County homeowner is being credited with helped to catch a couple suspected home invaders. The man says when he walked into his home on State Route 121, he found two men inside.
Sheriff's investigators say the two men, Andrew Hannah and Corey Kaufman, ran outside, jumped into their car and tried to take off. But the homeowner pulled out his gun and fired, flattening the tires on the getaway car.
With flat tires, police were able to catch up with the two suspect just a few blocks away. Both Hannah and Kaufman are charged with breaking and entering and theft.
