ASHLAND -- There is new video from the latest enslavement case near Cleveland where a mother and her young daughter were held captive for two years.

Ashland County authorities released this video today of the mentally disabled victim beating her own child.
Police say the mother's captors gave them the video when she came forward with her story.
The mother says the suspects tried to keep her quiet by forcing her to beat the 6-year-old while they taped it so they'd have evidence against her.
Right now, those four alleged captors are all in custody, accused of starving, beating and threatening the mother and daughter.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Federal authorities alleging an Ohio woman was held captive with her child and made to do housework say a fourth suspect charged with forced labor has surrendered to authorities.
A spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office in Cleveland says the charge against 21-year-old Dezerah Silsby was unsealed after she turned herself in Wednesday in the case that originated in Ashland. He said Silsby's initial court appearance would be Thursday.
It wasn't clear whether she had an attorney, and her case was not yet listed in online records late Wednesday.
An FBI affidavit says Silsby admitted she helped retrieve the alleged victims from their relative's house and once smashed the woman's hand with a rock so the woman could go to a hospital and bring back pain medication for the suspects.

ASHLAND -- There's new information regarding the suspects accused of holding a disabled woman and her daughter captive in their home outside Cleveland.
According to prosecutors, the suspects forced their captives to perform manual labor, eat dog food and even threatened them with pythons and pit bulls.
Three people have been arrested, and authorities are now looking for a fourth suspect.
Federal investigators say the suspects made the mother beat her own daughter and videotaped it, so they could use it against her if she ever tried to escape.
They also allegedly used the woman's checking account and prescriptions.
The FBI launched its investigation back in May.

UPDATE: Three Accused of Holding Mother, Child Captive in Ashland
ASHLAND -- Three people are under arrest after inviting a mentally disabled woman her daughter to live with them and then enslaved them for two years.
Authorities say the trio behind bars tonight threatened the mom and her 6 year old with weapons, pitbulls, and snakes.
"This case is nothing less than modern day slavery right here in the Northern District of Ohio," US Attorney Steven Dettlebach said passionately during a press conference Tuesday.
Officials say an eight month-long investigation led to Tuesday's arrest of Jordie Callahan, 26, Jessica Hunt, 31, and Daniel Brown, 33.
Ashland Police say they were tipped off to this disturbing scenario back in October when the disabled woman was caught shoplifting. Authorities found it odd when the woman asked to go to jail instead of returning home.
A local and federal investigation led to shocking discoveries. Officials said pit bulls and snakes were used to threaten the woman and child from ever leaving.
"These victims were repeatedly exposed to sub-human living conditions, such a as frequently being denied meals, access to bathroom visits and they were physically punished for toiletry accidents,"
FBI Agent Eric Smith revealed.
Ashland Police say a childhood brain injury left the 29-year-old mom with the mental capacity of a teenager.
Despite two years of forced manual labor, beatings and enslavement, authorities say the mom and daughter are doing okay and recovering in freedom.
A lawyer for the defense made a statement tonight claiming the charges were bogus and the alleged victim was able to come and go as she pleased.
A bond hearing for the three suspects has been set for Monday.

According to authorities, Callahan and Hunt invited the mother and daughter to live with them in their two bedroom apartment. At this time its not clear how the couple and victims knew each other, but police say between May 2001 and October 2012 the mom and daughter were tortured.

Ashland Police say the mother suffered a brain injury when she was 16 that left her with the mental capacity of 13 or 14 year old.
At the news conference Tuesday, Federal authorities talked about the abuse the woman and her daughter suffered.
"They were physically punished for toiletry accidents. And they were threatened not only with weapons, but also with vicious animals to include pit bulls and pythons," said Eric Smithi of the FBI on Tuesday.
As if this story cant get even more disturbing, Police say suspect Jessica Hunt's four small children lived in the home where all this was going on.

The suspects are accused of beatings, threats of death and threats of attack from pit bulls and snakes to hold the woman and child for two years.

WOIO reports that the suspects also reportedly made the woman do household chores. The woman and child were also, at times, not allowed to eat and forced to sleep in a padlocked room on a cement floor.
According to WOIO, investigators say the suspects forced the mother to hit her child and videotaped it, claiming they would show it to police if she left.
In October 2012, WOIO reports, the mother allegedly stole a candy bar while shopping for the suspects. She told police the people at the house were mean. An investigation was launched and officials conducted a raid at the Ashland home on Tuesday.
Officials say the woman and her child are recovering.
The suspects are to be arraigned in Federal Court later Tuesday.
