DAYTON -- The Dayton Air Show is just days away, and representatives from the Airport along with county and city leaders, held a press conference to highlight all the excitement surrounding it.
They were surrounded by unique and beautiful artwork from Stivers School for the Arts' students, who made posters highlighting dozens of area attractions. All this artwork will be on display at the Airport. The winner, Dwight McKinney, included a depiction of the tower at Carillon Park.
Jackie Powell, with the Dayton Visitors and Convention Bureau, talked about the excitement surrounded the air show, including all the money it brings in for our area.
Sean Tucker, a world-renowned stunt performer, also spoke, saying it's a huge privilege to perform in Dayton.
"The Air Show is about community, family and passion," said Tucker.
The Air Show is now in its 39th year and the weather is looking ideal for it.
