Residents Concerned About the Pace of Demolition of Dayton's Eyesores

DAYTON--Tonight on ABC 22/FOX 45, an update on the demolition of dilapidated properties in Dayton.

The city has torn down more than 260 structures, but there are  roughly 7,000 vacant homes still standing.

Some residents says the city isn't moving fast enough and it's having a negative impact on their neighborhood.

Annette Peagler spoke to one business owner who says he has to look at a run down, eyesore everyday.
 
"The city says they have it on the list, but they say it might not be torn down for two years, so now I have to suffer that consequence," said owner of Jazz Central Charles Stone.

There are 2,000 properties on a list waiting to be demolished.
