DAYTON -- A new sculpture and public space is dedicated in downtown Dayton.
The event began at the historical Ambrose Winters Memorial fountain and proceeded to the intersection of Fifth Street and Patterson Boulevard.
The sculpture that was dedicated today is called Fluid Dynamics and was created by sculptor Jon Barlow Hudson. The artist says it represents the wind, air and water of the past, as well as jet planes and space craft of the future.
This was also a celebration of the completion of the Patterson Canal Parkway which will allow residents to enjoy a more attractive pedestrian and bike friendly city center.
