SPRINGFIELD -- About 80 soldiers, set to deploy to Operation Enduring Freedom, received a big sendoff Thursday from loved ones.
The soldiers are from the Ohio Army National Guard's 371st Sustainment Brigade in Springfield.
Family members, friends and even employers gathered at the Southgate Baptist Church in Springfield to show their support and say goodbye to the group.
This deployment is expected to last a year. They will first train at Fort Hood, Texas, before heading to Kuwait.
In Kuwait they will join up with 200 members of the Brigade who deployed in April.
The Brigade's primary mission is to provide support within Kuwait.
