MONONA, WI -- A Wisconsin community is cracking down on bullies by fining their parents.
Moms and Dads could be fined $114 dollars for their child's aggressive behavior. The rule only applied to parents who are considered "uncooperative."
However, parents who make a good-faith effort to help will not be fined.
"Ultimately, parents are the first teachers and the first guides and they know their children the best. And sometimes they are the ones that can reach them the most."
This new ordinance also covers bullying over the phone and internet.
