DAYTON -- Doctors are learning surgical procedures of the future right here in the Miami Valley.
The new facility at the Brethen Center will provide an opportunity for doctors to learn this cutting-edge procedure.
"It potentially means that a patient that would have come in for a 12-hour procedure with a very large incision will now leave with three small incisions after a four-hour surgery," says Bobbie Gerhart.
Robotic surgeries can be offered for a number of different procedures and gives surgeons a 3-D view of the operation.
