MIAMI TOWNSHIP -- Police say a man hit while jaywalking has died at the hospital. The elderly man was hit near the intersection of Springboro Pike and Alex Bell Road.
Crash investigators say one driver was able to swerve and miss the man, but, a second car wasn't able to avoid hitting him.
They aren't releasing the mans name or exact age.
Sergeant Matt Nicley with the Washington Township Police Department says too many people jaywalk across 741.
"Use the crosswalks. If there's not a crosswalk, go to the nearest intersection even if its not marked with lanes and signs, you can still cross using the traffic signals unless it's posted not too," said Nicley.
Investigators say the woman driving didn't appear to be speeding and most likely won't be cited.
