The impact caused an explosion that damaged several buildings.
A black smoke cloud could also be seen for miles.
Officials say the driver of the truck is in serious but stable condition.
No one else was hurt.
Fifteen of the train's cars were derailed.
Two of the cars were carrying harsh chemicals that caught on fire.
