BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. -- Former Cincinnati Bengal Chad Johnson had been arrested, TMZ.com is reporting.
A warrant had been issued for Johnson after a judge said he violated his probation from a 2012 domestic violence conviction.
The TMZ story reports that Johnson failed twice to report to his probation officer and failed to show proof of enrollment in a domestic violence education class.
Johnson, 35, was convicted of domestic violence involving his ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada, according to TMZ.
Johnson played for the Bengals from 2001-2010.
