UNDATED -- Fees appearing on your cell phone bill and you probably don't even realize.
It's called cramming and it's a fee from a third party that puts charges on your phone bill.
The cramming fee is usually small, under $10 a month and will appear on your bill as a "premium service" or other generic-sounding charge.
"Many of us get jokes of the day, ringtones, different memberships. Often times it says it's free, but once you read the fine print you can see there are charges that will appear on your cell phone bill," said John North, President of Dayton's Better Business Bureau.
North says you may not realize these extra charges are there
"Read the fine print on the website, so you can see little things. A lot of times they share your information with others," he said.
If you do become a cramming victim call your phone carrier so they can look into the extra fee.
