(CNN) -- Women really do find musicians sexier than other guys. At least that's according to a new study from the University of South Brittany in France.
A researcher used a handsome 20-year-old man. He asked 300 women for their phone number.
He carried a guitar case when asking 100 women, a gym bag for another 100, and nothing for the final 100.
In the end, 54 out of 300 women gave him their numbers. A majority, 31 out of the 54 women, gave the guy their number when he was carrying the guitar case.
The study was published in the journal 'Psychology of Music.'
