DAYTON -- A local dog rescue and Girl Scout troop will be collecting donations Saturday at the Dayton Mall PetSmart.
Luv4K9s is helping Troop #30353, which is taking the collection as a service project. The proceeds will assist rescued and abandoned dogs.
The Girl Scouts will be at PetSmart from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The girls have been collecting donations from friends and family all month and are encouraging the public to come out and contribute.
