RIVERSIDE -- It was a night of celebration at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
300 Airmen and women were welcomed home in style at the "Heroes Welcoming Heroes" event.
The Air Force personnel honored tonight had all returned from overseas.
The program helps ease the transition from the rigors of overseas war time duty to a stateside assignment.
"It's great knowing that we have that support while we're away," said Staff Sgt. Colt Inman, "It just makes it so much easier knowing that when we come back to people opening their arms to us."
The Heroes Welcoming Heroes event was started back in 2005.
