MIAMI TOWNSHIP -- A young man will be going to prison after his partner in crime was killed during a robbery attempt.
Today, a judge sentenced 18-year-old Antonio Addison to 7 years behind bars for involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery.
Addison, Phillip Ochen and a third person tried to rob a man at a Miami Twp. apartment complex back in December.
The victim fought back, stabbing and killing Ochen in self-defense.
Addison and his surviving accomplice, Juwaun Batemen, were both charged in Ochen's death.
Batemen will be sentenced later this month.
