FAIRBORN -- An 18-year-old man is in police custody after sparking a SWAT standoff.
Police were called out to the 1200 block of Oakhill Avenue around 11:00 Monday night for reports of a despondent teen.
When they tried to make contact with the teen, he was not cooperating. Police say they knew he had guns in the house. At that point they decided to call in the SWAT Team.
The SWAT Team set up a perimeter around the house. Neighbors in the area were told to stay indoors. After a few hours, the negotiating team was able to convince the teen to surrender.
He'll likely face charges for inducing panic.
