BETHEL TWP. -- Just after 8 p.m. on Kennedy Drive, a 9-year-old was struck by a vehicle.
The boy was standing with his bike in a yard when a truck came down the street driving erratically, veering onto the grass and hitting the child.
Witnesses say the man driving got out, looked at the boy, then left. He was caught a short time later.
The boy was conscious when he was taken to the hospital.
