MONTGOMERY COUNTY -- It's time to start filling the pot holes. Road crews across the Miami Valley are beginning to work on the annoying holes in the roads.
In Montgomery County, crews were working hard in the area of North Main Street and Siebenthaler Avenue. That stretch of road was so loaded with pot holes, that crews just decided to dig up a portion of the road.
A Montgomery County engineer tells us that the cool Spring has helped their cause.
"I don't think we had too much more in terms of freeze thaw cycles'', Paul Gruner, the Montgomery County engineer, ''in fact maybe a little less than the normal winter because it stayed cold quite a while during the Winter."
Crews were able to dig holes in today's rainy weather, but they will have to wait until it dries out to fill those holes.
