SAY WHAT? : Do Terrorists Feel Unwelcome?
We`ve heard widely differing theories about why the Tsarnaev brothers terrorized Boston. Some believe the older brother hooked up with jihadists, both in America and when he visited Russia, and his Chechen relatives, for more than six months.
Others, like President Obama and a UD terror expert, claim the brothers were "lone wolves" akin to the Sandy Hook shooter and even Timothy McVeigh.
But perhaps the most depressing theory is one in this week's "Say What" segment. A local fellow who was nice enough to speak with us says America should have done more to make the Tsarnaevs feel "welcome."
Others note the Tsrarnaevs were granted political asylum (perhaps needlessly, since members of the family later went back to Russia) and reportedly more than $100,000 in various welfare payments. The brothers also attended one of the most prestigious public schools in the country.
What do you think -- not just about the Tsarnaevs but about how our country is responding to threats of terror. Are we doing too much - or too little? To see what some neighbors believe, watch this week's Say What.
