UPDATE: KETTERING -- A Vietnam era training grenade has been removed from a Murrell Drive home by the Dayton Bomb Squad. The Bomb Squad is taking the device to Moraine Farm, where it will be detonated.

KETTERING -- Officers tell us a resident on Murrell Drive was cleaning out his attic when he found a Vietnam era training grenade.
The bomb squad was called and is about to send a robot into the house to safely remove the device.
The family is out of the home right now.
Once the device is in hand, it will be taken to nearby Moraine farm and detonated.
