HARRISON TWP. -- A 6-year-old boy has died after falling out of a car.
Neighbors say the boy was trying to get out of a relative's car as it pulled up to his home on Palisades Drive, when he fell out and was run over.
Several people tried to help the boy before medics arrived to rush him to the hospital.
He was taken to Children's Medical Center where he later died.
Sheriff's deputies have not made in comments in regards to whether the 23-year-old female driver will face any charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
