NEW CARLISLE -- A man is behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.
Robert Sands, 36, was arrested yesterday after a relative of the young girl reported the assault.
According to Clark County deputies, right around the time the relative reported the crime, Sands called 911 and admitted to committing the sexual acts.
According to police, the incidents took place over a two-year period.
