BEAVERCREEK--The Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County teamed up with Children Services to sponsor a 5K Run/Walk at Beavercreek High School Saturday.
The annual race helps raise money and awareness about the problems of child abuse.
"Child abuse is really a significant problem in the community as our nation and we need to be raising our voices against it," said Debbie Matheson from the Family Violence Prevention Center.
April is child abuse prevention month.
