UPDATE: Deputies Arrest Man Suspected of Throwing Baby

UPDATE -- The man accused of throwing a 5-month-old baby during a domestic disturbance in Harrison Township is now in custody. 

Jamal Ward was arrested Friday evening by Dayton police.  He's in jail on preliminary charges of aggravated burglary, felonious assault, and burglary.

HARRISON TWP. -- Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who they say threw a baby.

Jamal Ward, 28, is wanted for aggravated burglary and child endangering charges after deputies were dispatched to 1978 Gant Drive for a child endangering call.

Deputies say Ward fled the scene before they arrived.

He's also wanted for an incident April 23 during which he is suspected of felonious assault and aggravated burglary at 5132 Embassy Place.

According to police, the baby was not injured but police are looking for Ward and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 225-4357.
