DAYTON -- The biggest star at Thursday night's Dayton Dragons' game wasn't a player, it was a 15-year-old girl.
Jessica Waters was recognized as a community all-star. Jessica was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 11, soon after she attended a specialty camp for kids with epilepsy.
Now, she runs Cupcakes for Camp, selling cupcakes provided by local bakeries to raise money to send other kids to the epilepsy camp.
"It means everything to me," Jessica said, "Especially being a counselor, I get to see first hand how happy going to the camp makes them. It's definitely changed my life completely. I wouldn't be the person I am without them."
So far Jessica's raised enough money to send five kids to the epilepsy camp. She hopes to send five more in 2013.
