ST. PARIS -- A teenager was brutally beaten with a crowbar early Monday morning by two men.
According to police, Austin Thornton, 19, is currently in the neurointensive care unit in a Toledo hospital. Thornton suffered major injuries to his head and torso.
Police say two men are behind bars tonight after the attack. Tyler Smith, 19, has been charged with attempted murder. Connor Holbrook, 19, has been charged with felonious assault.
The St. Paris community held a vigil tonight to pray for Thornton's recovery.
