TIPP CITY -- The late Tipp City Police Chief is honored for service to the city.
Chief Thomas Davidson died after a long battle with cancer. The city dedicated a plaque in his memory for his 22 years of dedication to Tipp City.
Acting Chief Sgt. Eric Burress says many people are talking about the terrific things Chief Davidson did for the department.
"He was a man of compassion for everybody on all sides of the criminal justice system'', Sgt. Burress told us, ''and he always 100 percent supported the men and women of the Tipp City police department."
For that reason, the Tipp City police building will be named for Chief Davidson.
