KETTERING -- A dip in temperatures over the weekend could put your plants at risk for frost bite.
There is a frost advisory overnight into Saturday morning.
That means it's going to be cold enough that your plants could get damaged.
But if you have cold weather trees or bushes they can stay outside.
The manager at Siebenthaler's in Kettering says if you have something in a pot, bring it inside.
"It won't kill them but it might nip them back a little bit, there might be a little damage on the leaves," said Mike Bellanca, Siebenthaler's store manager.
Flowers like pansies can stay outside because they too take the cold.
But if you want to take extra precaution, lay a sheet over those blooming flowers like tulips and daffodils, just to make sure the remove the sheet first thing in the morning.
