UNDATED--The results are in for local school districts waiting for recounts of their November school levies.
MILTON-UNION
The Milton-Union school district's November levy has officially gone down in defeat by only nine votes!
The Miami County Board of Elections finished a recount and found no change in the original vote count.
BEAVERCREEK
The Beavercreek levy also failed by only 118 votes. The latest recount was certified this afternoon.
The district is trying to bridge a major budget shortfall. The 6.7 mill levy would have generated 10.5 million dollars each year for five years.
The district made 13 million in cuts over the past two years; from staffing levels to eliminating bussing for high school students.
