Kettering -- Boston's paralysis is having a direct impact on businesses here in the Miami Valley.
The New Balance Store at the Town and Country Shopping Center in Kettering has its corporate headquarters in Boston.
This morning the store got word that because of the lockdown there, staff can't fill any online orders.
"A lot of times people will come in with needs and we try to address those on a daily basis and unfortunately we are not able to fill those, so yes, it is affecting us here," said Mike Schroeder, Manager of New Balance in Dayton.
Luckily, Mike is stocked up for at least another two weeks. New Balance is also the official sponsor of the "Air Force Marathon" in September.
Mike tells ABC 22/FOX 45, security measures are already being discussed for that race.
