BELLEFONTAINE (AP) -- A woman involved in a hit-and-run death last fall has pleaded guilty.
The victim, Austin Houser, 15, was found in a roadside ditch after he was struck by Humphries' vehicle in the village of Rushsylvania, located about 60 miles northwest of Columbus.
Prosecutors said Humphries blood alcohol level was more than three times higher than the legal limit and she had marijuana in her system. After the crash Humphries told her family she thought she'd hit a mailbox.
The Columbus Dispatch reports Humphries pleaded guilty on Monday to drunk driving and failure to stop at a crash scene. Her sentencing is scheduled for May 20.
