TROY -- The first spring thunderstorm of the season caused heavy downpours and hail in Celina, and dark clouds and wind in Troy.
"It came through pretty quick it got really cold and it got really windy," said Shana Harris.
Soon after the sighting of dark clouds, came the rain, which was also welcomed by the all too familiar sound of spring storms.
"There was a lot of lightning a lot of thunder it was pretty loud," said Harris.
And it was loud in Celina, as sheets of rain came down, cutting visibility to just a few feet in front of you.
But that wasn't the only thing causing problems, pea sized hail fell from the sky.
And while people we spoke to are happy Spring has finally arrived, they weren't quite ready for what mother nature had in store.
"I just wasn't ready for the storm yet we got Monday Tuesday beautiful days and then Wednesday bam, that's Ohio though," said Harris.
The day started out at 80 degrees in Troy, and y nightfall it was down to 64 thanks to the first spring thunderstorm of the season.
