DAYTON -- A mixed martial arts fighter who assaulted three Dayton police officers has his sentencing delayed two weeks.
Nikolaos Boscarino, 28, was found guilty of felonious assault on an officer and resisting arrest. Police say he beat the officers last year outside Taggarts Pub.
The fight started when an officer at Taggart's was responding to a complaint and saw Boscarino urinating in the bushes.
When the officer approached Boscarino, police say that's when he began the assault.
Police told us he gave the officer a concussion after punching him in the head and face. Police say Boscarino also managed to get the officer's taser before he was taken into custody, but he was not able to use it. Two other officers were injured in the fight.
Boscarino, is a registered mixed martial arts fighter with a 3-13 record. He could get a maximum sentence of 23 years in prison.
