UPDATE: Body Found in West Carrollton Home Identified as Edith King

WEST CARROLLTON -- Police have identified the homicide victim as 81-year-old Edith King. She was found dead about 7:30 p.m. Monday in her home by her daughter.

Body Found in West Carrollton Home Being Investigated as a Homicide

WEST CARROLLTON -- Police have now classified this case as a homicide.  The deputy chief says they were called to the home on Windsor Court around 7:30 p.m. on the report of a dead body. The victim is said to be the homeowner, who is an 81-year-old woman.

The victim's daughter reportedly found the woman dead in the home, although police aren't saying where the woman was in the home or how she died.

Police tell us the victim's car is also missing, along with other items in the home. Officers are now looking for a 2005 Silver Hyundai Elantra with an Ohio license plate BDM 9369.  If you see this car, call 911.

Right now police say it does not appear there was any forced entry into the home.

WEST CARROLLTON -- Police officers and detectives are on the scene where a body was found inside a home.

The home on Windsor Court is roped off with crime tape right now, while officers go in and out. They were also seen taking pictures of the area around the home.
